Rockland 82s House League registration!

What is it?
Participants will learn to skate, then learn to play hockey, and the program will culminate with house intra-squad games.  The classes are designed to teach the fundamentals of skating in a fun environment.  This  program provides a unique opportunity for families to join the hockey community and for participants to develop fundamental skills to help them succeed both on and off the ice.

This hockey program not only celebrates Brian's legacy but also supports players who aspire to make a positive impact in the world, or who are and aspire to be the type of person he was on and off the ice.  Our goal is to inspire youth and welcome more families into the hockey community.

About Brian and the passion behind the 82s

Brian Kilduff was a remarkable student whose passion for life and experiences and most importantly, the environment, left an indelible mark on our hockey community. We lost Brian suddenly and tragically in 2024, and this program is designed to honor Brian's vibrant spirit and unwavering commitment to friendship, family, and service. Brian had a passion to better the environment  and was employed with Green Bucket Compost, a company that provides food waste management services which helps people live a more sustainable life.

Brian’s other passion was ice hockey.  Brian played for North Rockland on both the modified and varsity teams.  Brian was a valued teammate who always strived to improve.  He had respect for his teammates and provided a constant stream of encouragement and support.  Brian always showed compassion and empathy not only on the ice but in life.

We invite young people who embody Brian's zest for life to join this program.
